Mumbai Portraits

Looks can be deceiving..... it's a term I found to be especially true for the people of India and these men are a perfect example. They look intense and may seem unfriendly, yet they were anything but. All of them were warm, gracious and humble. It was an incredible experience photographing so many kind people.

Camel Fair - Pushkar

The Pushkar camel fair is an epic event that draws hundreds of thousands of people from all over Rajasthan. Unfortunately, during my visit I was incredibly sick so I didn't get to shoot/experience more of it..... guess I'll have to go back one day.

India - Agra

Not far from the Taj Mahal, kids from a slum play in an empty lot and pick through garbage.

India - Agra

Near the gates of the Taj Mahal, labourers work tirelessly moving sand from a pit. On average these men and women earn less than six dollars a day. The work was grueling, the temperature was hovering over 30 degrees celcius and the humidity was suffocating, yet they didn't seem unhappy.
