Camel Fair - Pushkar

The Pushkar camel fair is an epic event that draws hundreds of thousands of people from all over Rajasthan. Unfortunately, during my visit I was incredibly sick so I didn't get to shoot/experience more of it..... guess I'll have to go back one day.

India - Agra

Not far from the Taj Mahal, kids from a slum play in an empty lot and pick through garbage.

India - Agra

Near the gates of the Taj Mahal, labourers work tirelessly moving sand from a pit. On average these men and women earn less than six dollars a day. The work was grueling, the temperature was hovering over 30 degrees celcius and the humidity was suffocating, yet they didn't seem unhappy.

India - Delhi

Delhi is a challenging city to say the least, it's said to be the dirtiest in India and for good reason. It shocks the senses with a bombardment of constant noise, unimaginable amounts of garbage strewn in every direction, awful smells and utter chaos. It was my first stop on the trip and had me questioning my decision to visit India, however, after a couple of days I adjusted and began to enjoy it.... but still, I was glad to move on.
